Too Many Hobbies

There aren't enough hours in the day to enjoy all the things I would like to do. Here are some of the things I enjoy doing in my spare time (when I have spare time.)

Autocross

Autocross is where a course is set up with cones in a large parking lot. The object is to get through the course as fast as possible without hitting any cones. The runs are timed, and only one car is released at a time, so there is very little chance of hitting any one or anything.

The car that I use for this is my daily driver Mini Cooper S. I'm still learning to push the car to its limits, but I get faster with each run. Pushing the Mini is an absolute blast. It handles like a go kart. At my second event, I finished in the top 1/4 of the Novice class.

Classic Cars

There are two cars that I'm currently in the process of restoring, a 1965 Ford Mustang that I got when I graduated from high school, and a 1951 Willys pickup that I got from my dad. My focus is currently on the Willys as it is closer to being finished.

Photography

I recently purchased a Canon T5i camera and have become obsessed with taking pictures. My favorite subjects are bugs and wildlife. Here are some rescent shots.
